Why do I smell wet dog?*

*Quote by Albert Finney in Annie.

Warning: The following images are graphic and may not be suitable for all viewers!

Today we gave Lucy a bath. She has been shedding a lot and I wanted to try to get some of the hair loose. She was nasty and Logan loved helping brush and wash her.

Lucy really hates being wet, but she can't wait to get her bologna treat at he end! For her the misery is all worth it.
Trust me, this picture doesn't do the justice to how nasty everything was.
To quote Logan, "Ewwwwwwww!"
Just to prove I really did clean up the joint. I took some after pictures too!
You will have to trust me that the tub behind the curtain is cleaned and disinfected too.

A Visit from Mom and Dad

This weekend Jason's parents came in for a quick visit. It was really awesome that they were able to come considering that Nancy has an event this coming Saturday and they had to drive through a snow storm to get here. They came in the middle of the day. So after clearing all the freshly fallen snow off our driveway and sidewalks Dad took Logan for a sled ride around the yard. Logan enjoyed it very much although sometimes he would spontaneously fall over into the snow.

On Saturday we went to the DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville. It was super fun! There were so many things for Logan's age I am sure we will be joining the museum sometime soon. We didn't even bother bringing the stroller in the museum. I have never seen such a cool and imaginative place.
As you can see it is hard to miss as you drive by. It was a great day to go to the museum because as you can also see the weather wasn't conducive to much else.
Logan loved being able to hit and explore everything. This was an old boiler (I think) with some extra pieces of metal attached. The point of the exhibit was to show that everything makes music.
We took advantage of this great photo opportunity. I think we had as much fun as he did!

On Saturday night we went to Joe and Terri's house for dinner.
Logan felt the need to "dress up." He loves wearing and making other people wear their scarves. Mom helped him with her scarf and he wore it for a while until he gave up and made her wear it.
It was a casual pizza dinner so it was jeans and hoodies. Logan and Grandpa both matched so it was a perfect opportunity for a picture. Logan is starting to enjoy having his picture taken.
