This past weekend we were in Detroit for the Dream Cruise. For anyone who doesn't know what the Dream Cruise is it is always in August. Thousands of cars come and cruise down Woodward, the first paved road in America. The Dream Cruise is the largest moving car event in the world. They estimate that there are 1.5 million spectators along the road from
Ferndale to Pontiac. It is defiantly a don't miss, especially if you like cars or people watching. This year we got to see the Cruise from a different point of view. My dad took me down there on the back of his bike and Jason was able to ride his other bike. It was a totally different experience because you are out in the open and seeing everything. You also inhale a lot of car fumes, but that is okay; it is all worth it!

This is a front hood
ornament of a 55 Chevy. This car was part of the GM display. It probably has not see the light of day for more than a few hours in its life. GM keeps hundreds of cars in a warehouse and this is one of them.

This is also a cool picture of a
GTO! There are so many of those down there.

We even saw the Transformers. It was cool to wander around and check them out. But we had to beware because the Deceptacons were also down there. That is one of the coolest things about the Dream Cruise. You can see beautiful cars that are unmatched, but you also see quircky stuff like cars covered in stickers. You might even see the Delorian from Back to the Future or the General Lee. This year we saw Boss Hog's car. It is defiantly a car lovers dream! We might add some more pictures later on. If you want to see pictures of Logan at the cruise check out his blog.
