A Day in the Windy City

Today the seniors took a day trip to Chicago. Kathleen Oloffo brought her students here to see Romeo and Juliet at a play on Navy Pier and I was able to meet them. After the play we took a trolley to Michigan Avenue and walked down to the Cheesecake Factory. It was an awesome day and I am so honored I could be a part of it. A grand day for long haired girls in the "Windy City."
Christina, Amanda, and Stephanie pose for a picture before the play.
Some students can be intimidated or even afraid of Shakespeare, like Chris was, but the actors did a great job of making the play come alive.
Allison, Paula, and I posed for a picture on Navy Pier.
I didn't order cheesecake, because I was way too full from lunch so the students gave me all their whipped cream. Yummy!
Claire and Titus standing outside waiting for the bus to arrive.
Jacob borrowed my camera and took a few pictures with it. This is him standing in front of the John Hancock building. Look just behind him and you will notice a shadow on the building that looks like it is being cast by Jacob's tall figure!
The group boarded the bus and headed home after a fun day in Chicago.
